ProQuest Usage Statistics “To the ProQuest system, a session means the period of time when you log into the system and when you log out from it.” “for example, ….., when you first get into the system and go to ABI/INFORM, a session is tallied, but the information about the database you are going into is irrelevant to the session due to the way a session is defined by ProQuest. “ “….you see the same number of sessions in every row in each month's column, because the COUNTER format says that we have to include the session number so that the report is COUNTER compliant. “
