  8. ScienceDirect OnSite (SDOS)是荷兰Elsevier Science出版公司开发研制的，完全基于web的电子期刊全文数据库检索系统。Elsevier Science是一家设在荷兰的历史悠久的跨国科学出版公司，是世界享有盛誉的学术出版商。该公司出版的期刊是世界公认的高品位学术期刊，且大多数为核心期刊，被世界上许多著名的二次文献数据库所收录。近年来，该公司收购了许多出版公司，同时将其出版的1,200多种期刊全部数字化，建立了ScienceDirect全文数据库，并通过网络提供服务。 ScienceDirect OnSite概况及特点
