  2. In Vitro Fertilisation In vitro fertilisation or IVF is a series of fertility treatment procedures to help infertile couples conceive and give birth to a healthy and cute baby. In IVF treatment, experts stimulate a female’s ovaries for egg production, retrieve eggs, fertilise the egg with the extracted sperm from a male’s semen and transfer embryo into the female’s uterus.

  3. The IVF process lasts for around three weeks. In some cases, it can last for more than four weeks. The process take more time when a female faces a miscarriage. In vitro fertilisation is an effective form of ART (assisted reproductive technology). Doctors carry out it with the use of a couple’s eggs and sperm. Or they suggest opting for an egg or sperm donor program if they find that the egg/sperm of a couple is not healthy for conception.
