  4. WP1.3 Progress overview-1 Mid-June – mid-July 2011. Preparation of 1st version of data base template (dbt). Sent to KEPA for instructions. Mid-July 2011. NOA seeks expertise from IHS to adjust dbt to LEAP requirements. August – September 2011. Communication with KEPA with focus on easiness and friendly use of dbt.v1 by partners in order to bring out gaps and needs in beneficiary countries. Preparation of 2nd version of dbt. Beginning of October 2011. The dbt.v2 takes the form to cooperate with LEAP requirements and M/A scenario development. Sent to HIS for approval. - 4 -

  5. WP1.3 Progress overview-2 End of October 2011. The dbt.v2 takes the form to be associated with LEAP. Mid-November 2011. Compatibility problems between dbt.v2, LEAP and AMS arise. HIS sends a revised dbt.v3. NOA is informed by KEPA about an entanglement with IHS in respect with M/A scenario development. Postponement of dispatch of dbt.v3 to partners for starting data collection. End of November 2011. HIS proposes different dbt. NOA cannot finalize dbt. KEPA is dealt with problem. - 5 -

  6. WP1.3 Progress overview-3 Beginning of January 2012. KEPA instructs NOA and final version of dbt is prepared. Mid-January 2012. NOA starts dispatch of final dbt to partners for collecting and inputting data into dbt to form their database (db). Deadline: 31 January 2012. End of January 2012. Some partners asked for deadline extension due to limited time. February 2012. NOA in close collaboration with partners about data collection and quality. Instructions how to consider reliable data sources (national statistical agencies, Eurostat, EEA, World Bank, UNFCCC). - 6 -

  7. WP1.3 Progress overview-4 End of February 2012. NOA sends to partners list of missing data and asks for justification. March 2012. NOA in close communication with partners to answer questions regarding requested task. 20 March 2012. NOA sends to partners their individual dbs to double-checking for missing and questionable data. Deadline for collecting corrected dbs: 25 March 2012. - 7 -

  8. WP1.3 Situation of collected dbs-1 Russia. No response to data collection. First data in inappropriate form received by NOA on 11 April 2012. Albania, Bulgaria, Serbia, Ukraine. On-time response to NOA’s request (deadline of 25 March). Armenia, Estonia, Romania, Turkey. Delayed response to NOA’s request (deadline of 25 March) by 1 April. Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Moldova. Delayed response to NOA’s request (deadline of 25 March) by 17 April, 17 April and 12 April, respectively. 20 April 2012. Delivery of 11 final national dbs, one check list and a report to KEPA. - 8 -
