Top Promising Ideas & Strategies Marketing and Community Engagement • Build Solid relationships with established and trusted Latino organizations (“third party credibility”) • BBBSA to develop marketing tools and messaging with nationwide resonance • Develop relationships with churches and congregations serving Latinos

  6. Top Promising Ideas & Strategies Bilingual/Bicultural Staff Recruitment and Training • Develop and/or enhance cultural competency training for staff and volunteers

  7. Top Promising Ideas & Strategies Partnerships • Establish national level formal relationship or alliance with at least 4 major corporations/institution • Secure partnership with nationwide Latino media outlet (Univision or Telemundo) Hispanic Advisory Council (HAC) • Take time selecting members to get the right people • Establish more formal relationship (“mirror”) between NHAC and local HAC’s
