  6. International Research cooperation • EU funded projects: 1. Centre for Contemporary India Research and Studies(Programme: EU India Action Plan Suport Facility,ASIE/2009/215-062; Centre for Contemporary India Researchand Studies). The value of the grant is 270 000 euro. 2. EU grant under the Seventh Framework Programme forResearch and Technological Development (FP7). The India-EU Joint House for Science and Innovation beganon 1 February 2012. The value of the grant is 519 000 euro 3. FP7 – Marie Curie, entitled(Post-USSR) Tensions. The aim of the project: aninterdisciplinary and inter-sectoral doctoral programme 4. The Institute is part of the Network on HumanitarianAssistance (NOHA), which is supported by the EU. 5. IIR University of Warsaw is a part of Erasmus Mundus (Sub-Programme: ErasmusMundus Partnerships in Action 2, Strand 1). Project title:Interdisciplinary Bridgies in Indo-European Studies (IBIES). 6. Programme: Leonardo da Vinci (Transfer of Innovation), Increase of EU”s economic potential in relations with China, value of the grant: 255 507 euro

International Research cooperation - Research networks • Institute is a part of: • the European University Centre at Peking University, oneof the highest ranked university in China (main coordinatoris Lund University) • the EU Non-Proliferation Consortium, which is a networksupported by the EU bringing together foreign policyinstitutions and research centres from the EU. • EAISC - European Association of India Study Centres • The Institute is a founder of the Polish Association for International Studies • The Institute in cooperation with the Polish Association for International Studies and the European International Studies Association (EISA) was co-organizer of 8th Pan-European Conference on International Relationshttp://www.8thpaneuropean.org/
