Greenpeace Contest greenpeacechallenge.jovoto.com Our Concept: • Utilization of biodigesters to generate biogas from agricultural waste and manure. • Methane gas for use in diesel engines. • Fertilizer as a useful byproduct of methane production. Benefits: • Low risk and implementation cost • Conversion of current diesel engines • Existing service network Final Submissions Due: Dec. 6th

Greenpeace Contest What still needs to be done: • Quantify power requirements • What is the required biogas production rate for a community? • Estimate costs • e.g. conversion of diesel pumps to dual fuel systems • Size system • Propose basic implementation plan • How to ensure success? • Focus on building community support for the project • Rudimentary business plan
