  2. Goal Setting a Goal: • What do I want to know or be able to do? I want to be able to insert videos on my PowerPoint slides from websites etc. • How can I find the information I need? I can look it up on the internet for the information needed. I know how to copy their URL’s. • How will I know if I have been successful or not? I will know how to insert videos from different websites on my PowerPoint slides. Objective:To learn how to insert videos from various websites onto PowerPoint's to show a visual sense of content that is being covered in different slides.

  3. Action Taking Action • What information do I need to meet my goal? I need to understand how to copy and paste, how to insert, how to access various videos, where to search for various videos and have a basic understanding of PowerPoint. • What resources are needed? I will need to have access to all features on a computer, and have use of various search engines or networks such as Google or YouTube etc. Learning plan summary • Research and study video tutorials • Access PowerPoint help features • Other search engines and tools.

  4. monitor Monitoring your learning • Am I finding the information that I need? Yes, I have found many different explanations and reasoning's through definitions, help features and videos. • What patterns are emerging from the information sources? From looking at all of the explanations they all say to copy, paste and insert from the website to the PowerPoint slide. • Do I need to modify my action plan? No I don’t think that I need to modify because I believe that I have found a lot of information from various resources. Description of Actions Firstly I went onto YouTube to search for PowerPoint tutorials that showed me how to insert videos. Secondly I shortened it down to 3-4 videos that were quality videos and watched each of them. Lastly I chose the video that stood out most to me and related its explanation to those of the help tutorials and Google searches to arrive at my final answer.

  5. Evaluate and extend Evaluate and Extend • Have I met my learning goals? Yes I believe that I have because I have learnt how to insert numerous videos from various websites onto PowerPoint slides. Overall since I know how to insert a video onto a PowerPoint I will be able to teach my students how to insert videos from different websites onto PowerPoint's. This will benefit them as they will have a better knowledge and will be able to present quality presentations.
