  2. Mission and Vision Mission Provide the most effective and efficient F&L and related equipment support across the CF and DND Vision Be the CF/DND centre of excellence for F&L

  3. Role The F&L directorate has been established to become the leader and single STRATEGIC focal point with CF/DND for F&L

  4. Responsibilities • Overseeing end-to-end DND fuel requirements both domestically and internationally in the areas of: • Finance • Logistics • Procurement/contracts • Structures/ equipment • Supply chain, and • Training

  6. 2008-2009 Objectives, Priorities and Activities • Align directorate and staff positions • Develop capability to provide relevant strategic-level support to domestic/deployed ops • Initiate contracts • Reduce DND fuel tax burden • Increase DND fuel data visibility Establish/promulgate policies, standards & procedures • Modernize Training • Centralize logistical, financial procurement/contractual regarding the quality and quantity of Fuels & Lubricants (F&L) • Create performance measurement and accountability framework
