Homework Policy (See my website for complete homework policy) • Homework will be assigned Monday-Thursday • Special projects will be given (about 1 a month) • Nightly homework should take between 45-60 minutes to complete (including choice reading) • ALL completed assignments are due at the beginning of the school day otherwise they are considered missing. Students will make up work at recess or at home.

  5. GRADING POLICY • REPORT CARDS are distributed 3 times a year • Progress reports will be sent to any student at risk of failure • Grading scale: (PERCENTAGES) 100-90 A 89-80 B 79-70 C 69-60 D Below 60 F Students will be given tests, quizzes, classroom assignments, homework, projects and reports during the course of the trimester. All will be used to formulate the report card grades.

AUCTION • Once a trimester • Students and teacher bring in items to be auctioned • Students get compensated for items they donate and through team points • Students also get compensated for being a 5 star student • An announcement will be made 2 weeks before the auction so student will know when to bring in items for the auction. • One child’s old toy can be a treasure to another child. • Posters, books, games, puzzles… are all welcome
