  3. Computer Updating Initiative • Corporate donations of used computers for utilization in classrooms and labs • Replace obsolete hardware • Increase number of machines per student • Cash donations also accepted

  4. Benefits to Corporate Donors • Visibility with rich and diverse community with strong links to Brazil and Spain • Supporting education will enhance a corporation’s CSR scorecard • Recycling of computers is a sustainable action • Donated computers are tax-deductible

  6. Specifications • Must meet minimum hardware requirements • Intel Core 2 Duo processor or equivalent • Must be able to run Windows7 • 80 GB hard drive • 2 GB RAM • Volunteer parents and school IT consultant will coordinate transfer of hardware assets
