  1. 5 Places That You Must Visit in Dharamshala If you are thinking about travelling to Dharamshala then make sure to visit the places mention below to make your visit wonderful. TsuglagKhang complex: In 1959 when His Holiness the Dalai Lama arrived in India this TsuglagKhang complex is the first structure to built for his Holiness. This complex consist the famous Namgyal monastery, a museum that contain the history and art of the Tibetan culture, a privet residence for His Holiness Dalai Lama, a library, a book store and even a coffee shop can be found in there. This religious centre can be considered the heart of the Dharamshala.

  2. Dal Lake: Dal Lake is situated in the altitude of 1,775 meter in the DharamshalaDal and surround by beautiful mountain range and decor tree forest. With a beautiful greenish colour the lake is very quiet and calm. There is a temple of Lord Shiva in the bank of the lake. The lake is 2 km away from the main market of Kangra and you can reach it by an auto or walking. This lake is one of the major attractions of Dharamshala and tourist can enjoy lot of things such as various water sports, picnic, trekking etc. Bhagsu Nag Falls: This Bhagsu Nag Fall is a 30 feet tall waterfall is a very beautiful especially during monsoon. Near this Bhagsu Nag Fall which is also known as simply Bhagsu Falls there is a very famous temple of Lord Shiva. Every year lot of pilgrims and tourist visit this beautiful place seeking their own intention.

  3. The Kangra Fort: The Kangra Fort is constructed around the 4th century B.C. by the royal family of Kangra. This majestic fort is the largest and oldest fort in just Himachal Pradesh but also in India too. This place bears the oldest history of Dharamshala. In the structure of the fort there are temples, mosque, palaces, and royal gateways and it spreads in a 4 km area. Triund: At a distance of 9 km from McLeod Ganj the trek Triund is situated. The amazing site of Moon Peak-Indera Pass is can be seen from Triund as it located in a higher place.
