Practical Class Exercise’s, 2nd session • Objectives: • Know how to: • Setup a Flowmeter • add Channel based on a Flowmeter • Add and configure a Flowmeter based MP • Add and configure LIW MP • Add and configure Dump to Empty MP • Use the above Material Paths to do Feeds • Reference: Qi Technical manual.doc • Ch 3 – Flowmeter program block • Ch 4 – Flowmeter • Ch 4 – Assign Channels • Ch 4 – Configure Material Paths

Class Exercise #1 – Setup a Flowmeter • Via the Flowmeter Button Configure Flowmeter (K) • Verify Flowmeter is functioning • How ? :Switch to the Flowmeter Channel and manually add water, check to see that the Qi display is counting. • Via the PAC Button Add a Flowmeter based Channel, use Channel 3 • Reference: Qi Technical manual.doc • Ch 3 – Flowmeter program block • Ch 4 – Flowmeter • Refer to next slides after your own attempt.

Class Exercise #2 • Add MP2, GIW & SPILL only • PAC >> Material Paths • Enter required MP number • Configure all Parameters • TIP: Save this page as : “Defaults” then this page can be loaded and edited • Do some Feeds using this Material Path (refer Module 090) • Check that Feeds are error free with a green screen • Example follows on next slide. Try on Own first
