  4. 16 Brainstorming Evangelistic Suggestions Were MadeBased on the vote taken, the Top Three (3)Priorities are:

  5. Communication Network to bring evangelism teams from different churches together by zones – 24 votes

  6. Motivate 50 churches to train 50 lay people each in evangelism and discipleship(Evangelism Explosion , Alpha, etc.) – 22 votes

  7. 3.Super Bowl Outreaches (Convoy of Hope , March for Jesus , Athletes in Action Breakfast ) – 21 votes

  9. Athletes in Action (AIA) Super Bowl Breakfast • 1,470 Attended • 580 wanted more information about Christ; 200 of which were out of town • 260 decisions for Christ • 350 interested in small group study • Personal follow-up is in progress

  10. Convoy of Hope • 6,500 residents attended plus 3,000 volunteers • 100 churches involved • 322 received Christ • 42 churches involved in aftercare

  11. March for Jesus • 7,000 –10,000 Attended 100 Churches involved Super City Prayer Breakfast • 400 Attended 100 Churches involved

  12. Priority #2 • Recruiting 50 churches with 50 people trained and committed for evangelism and discipleship

Evangelism ExplosionPresented by Len Showalter • 13 weeks program • Led by assigned staff who has attended EE clinic • 3 hour class includes lecture, field experience in teams (1 trainer & 2 trainees) & reporting • Reading assignments as well as memorization of scripture and gospel presentation

First Coast Training Center(a ministry of Campus Crusade for Christ) Leadership Guidelines: • Pastor References • Students select target audience • Weekly, interactive classes are 90 minutes • Mentor oversight for field application • Courses are taken sequentially • Certificate degree offered • Courses can apply to Masters in Christian Ministry with prior approval
