  1. Shurley Method English Say whaaaat? English isn’t fun. Oh wait…YES IT IS!

  2. You will learn more than you have in your entire 8 years of English combined. I guarantee it. Ask any of the 8th graders from last year (yes, even the boys), and they will still be able classify any sentence you put in front of them. BOOM! Take that, learning! • Statistics prove that scholars between the ages of 7 and 15 learn best through music. (Hence why even if I haven’t heard that awesome Backstreet Boys or Spice Girl song in a decade, I still can belt out all the words if it comes on the radio. • No more textbook nonsense! English books are boring; I will be the first to admit it. Having you guys read out of the book and then do sentences, and then read from the book, and then do sentences, and then read from the book, and then do sentences… well, you get the idea. It’s monotonous (look it up) and most of you don’t learn from it anyway. This is our chance to break away from the norm and actually learn in English class. Plus, it is one less book you have to shove in your locker. Why would we do such a thing?
