  2. FBA-PBL Dress Code • FBLA-PBL members and advisers should develop an awareness of the image one’s appearance projects. • The purpose of the dress code is to • uphold the professional image of the association and its members • to prepare students for the business world.

  3. FBLA-PBL Dress Code Appropriate attire is required for all attendees • advisers, members, and guests • – at all general sessions, competitive events, regional meetings, workshops, and other activities unless otherwise stated in the conference program.

  4. FBLA-PBL Dress Code Conference name badges are part of this dress code and must be worn for all conference functions. For safety reasons, do not wear name badges when touring.

  6. Business Suit with Collar Dress Shirt and Necktie

  7. Sport Coat, Dress Slacks, Collar Shirt and Necktie

  8. Dress slacks, collar shirt, and necktie

  9. A banded collar shirt may be worn, but only if sport coat or business suit is worn. Banded Collar

  10. Dress Shoes and Socks

  11. FEMALESAppropriate Dress

  12. Business Suit With or Without a Blouse

  13. Business Pantsuit With or Without a Blouse

  14. Skirt or Dress Slacks with Blouse or Sweater

  15. Business Dress It’s ok to wear a sleeveless dress.

  17. Nylons when Wearing Skirts and Dresses

  18. Inappropriate Attire for Both Men and Women

  19. NO Jewelry in Visible Body Piercing, Other Than the Ears

  20. NO Denim or Chambray Fabric

  21. NO Shorts or Skorts

  22. NO Exercise/Bike Shorts, Stretch/Stirrup Pants

  23. NO Backless, See-through, Tight-fitting, Spaghetti Straps, Strapless, Extremely Short Skirts/Dresses, Low-Cut Blouses/Tops

  24. NO T-Shirts, LycraTM, Spandex, Midriff Tops, Tank Tops, Bathing Suits

  25. NO Latest Trends (Keep These “Baby Dolls” for your non-conference activities)

  26. Sandals of Any Kind Shoes You Don’t Want to Wear

  27. NOAthletic Shoes/Sneakers, Industrial Work Shoes, Hiking Boots, Bare Feet, Clogs, or Over-the-Knee Boots Shoes You Don’t Want to Wear

  28. NO Hats or Flannel Fabric Clothing

  29. NO Bolo ties or Visible Foundation Garments What is a bolo tie? A bolo tie is a cord fastened around the neck with an ornamental clasp and worn as a necktie.
