Teams • 2-3 peopleforengineeringprojects • Onepersonforscienceprojectsandapproval of theCommiteeandSupervisorwhogivestheproject is a must. • ‘Nobodycan switchfromoneteamtootherteamafterteamformation. • If any student withdrawn from the course the rest of the project should be completed by remaining team members.’ [2]

Process • First, supervisorsproposeprojectswiththeproposal form on thenextslide. • Thoseproposalsareannounced on thecoursewebsite. • ‘Students should fill Project Topic Preference Sheet individually’[2] • Submittotheassistantuptothedeadlineannounced on thewebsite. • Student / Team matchingwithprojectswill be announced on thewebsite.

Process(cont.) • Wholeteamshavetocheckthecoursewebsiteregularly not tomissanyannouncementorupdate. • Everyteam must havetheir own project web-site. • Project andartifactswill be reached from theproject website. Thus, yourprojectwebsitemust be updated in any time duringtheprojects. • Using a versioncontroltool is a must. Detailswill be announced on thecoursewebsite. • ‘Inadditionto web site, studentsmustsubmit a Hard copy of documentstotheassistant.’ [2]

Process(cont.) • For each projectasupervisor (and twojurymembersforpresentation ) grading will be assigned. • Design/codereviews can be done duringtheyearwithyoursupervisor. • ‘ A prototype software should be developed. • Theprototypepresentationandprojectpresentationshould be done in twoweeksbeforetheend of thesemester.’[2] • Someinvitedspeakersmaycometoinformyouaboutthebusinessworld. Detailswill be announced on thecoursewebsite.

  19. Grading(Tentitative) • Bothindividualandteamgradewillgivenbysupervisors. • Gradingcriteria • Percentageswill be announced at thecoursewebsite • Late submissions of any material will be penalized. Penalizationcalculationwill be announced on thewebsite.

  21. Other Information ‘Any output produced by project team during PROJECT DEVELOPMENT (e.g. documentation, software codes, presentations, prototypes etc.) is the property of the Computer Engineering department and required to submit to the supervision team.’[2]
