  1. Picture Framing Supplies Boston Framers’ Workshop has been framing pictures in Boston for over 36 years. We do good work, and so can you. At Framers’ Workshop you can do your own framing or have us do it for you. You can also simply purchase your materials to go – same day.

  2. Our Story Framers’ Workshop first opened its doors on Washington Street in Brookline Village in 1976. In those days, there were several shops in the Boston area that offered do-it-yourself framing. Today, we’re the only one left. In 1991 we relocated to our current, more spacious, storefront at 64 Harvard Street. And although our crew might change over time, we keep ourselves staffed with sharp and resourceful employees, many of whom have arts backgrounds themselves. What We Offer Do you have a specific framing idea in mind? How about retrofitting your toilet seat to frame a portrait of your favorite relative? Or are you clueless as to how to get that diploma from 1987 on the wall? We can set you up with the materials and knowhow to create a one- of-a-kind project that will suit your taste and needs. You don’t need an appointment. When you come in, just walk into the second room, our sales area. Then we’ll get you started by showing you your options and writing up your order. Then you can choose whether you’d like to do it yourself or leave it with us. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, check, and cash. Do It Yourself

  3. Framing your own artwork is the best way to save yourself from custom fees and waiting- time. At Framers’ Workshop we have ten do-it-yourself workstations and a collective 100 years of framing know-how. For a $3 shop fee, we’ll help you with your project step-by- step. If you have a question or feel a bit confused –don’t panic– just let us know. If you make a mistake, we’ll correct it to the best of our ability. We’ll even let you bring in your own materials. The whole process usually takes 45-90 minutes per framed piece.
