Work package n° 9: Master classes Overview of main activities so far • First Master Class: • Innovative Utilization of Structural Funds • In Europe • (2-5 September 2009, Budapest, Hungary) • 72 participants (6 countries); • 18 lecturers (5 countries); • Second Master Class: • MODERN HOSPITAL: An investment with respect to the future needs of the patients • (24-26 November 2010, Bratislava, Slovak Republic) • 169 participants (11 countries) ; • 18 lecturers (6 countries); • Partner : • Peter Pazitny from Health Policy Institute

Work package n° 9: Master classesImplications of findings • The level, limitations and opportunities of strategic thinking related to SF projects Loosely coupled strategy, strategic mimicry Lack of political stability The coordinative management function is generally in deficit in the Structural Fund projects.
