  2. The word "evangelism" comes from the Greek word "euangelizomai," which literally means "to bring Good News." Definition

  3. Good News = Gospel. The Good news is Jesus is alive and gives a direction whereby men may meet him. Matthew 28:10 10 Then Jesus *said to them, “[a]Do not be afraid; go and take word to My brethren to leave for Galilee, and there they will see Me.” Good News

Evangelism is not about winning an argument, it’s about preaching the gospel. • The Holy Spirit knows the hearts of men better than we do, so we should trust His leading more than our own • The most passionate and effective evangelism comes from those who have experienced the gospel. • Godly evangelism frequently involves making ourselves (and others) uncomfortable. • The gospel is a message of hope. • There are opportunities all around us to share the gospel. • Not everyone will believe. • Salvation takes a moment to receive and a lifetime to understand. • The gospel is a message the world desperately needs. 9 Things to Remember about Evangelism
