  2. CSC VALIDATION Tests • 1. HV scan of all 6 planes with/without Cs137 (dark&source currents) (checked at MP9) • 2. Gas gain uniformity with Cs137 source (HV=3700V) • 3. ZERO DEAD channels (checked at MP9) • 4. Anode wire groups (64group/plane) efficiency • 5. Single wire (group) noise rate (TDC) • 6. Gas gain non-uniformity with Cosmic Rays measurements (CFEB) Nikolai’s Anode Analysis Webpage http://www-hep.phys.cmu.edu/cms/valid/test.html

  10. Summaryfor 9 CSC validated at LAB7 • Overall parameters of 9 CSC “good” • no big surprises. • Gas Gain Uniformity (with Cs137) for 9 CSC • 6 CSC Gmax/Gmin < 3 • 3 CSC Gmax/Gmin < 3 • Layer#1 mainly contributed into several small “hot gain spots” • Anode noise rate for all 9 CSC less than 25 Hz.
