We DO NOT use subject pronouns with “gusta.” • In English, we say “I like to read.” • Rephrase it like this: “To me it is pleasing to read.” • In Spanish: “Me gusta leer.” • To him it is pleasing to eat french fries. • Le gusta comer las papas fritas. • To us it is pleasing to learn Spanish • Nosgustaaprender el español.

Who likes what??? • What does “Le gustapracticardeportes” mean? • He likes to practice sports. • She likes to practice sports. • You like to practice sports. • Use the word “a” with a noun or pronoun to clarify meaning • A él le gustapracticardeportes. • A ella le gustapracticardeportes. • A Usted le gustapracticardeportes.
