I Hope this catches U the way it caught me!

In light of the many perversions and jokes we send along to one another for a laugh and put up on web pages, this here is a little different:This joke today is not intended to be a joke, it's not intended to be funny, it's intended to get you thinking.

A prominent American's daughter was interviewed on the Early Show and Jane Clayson asked her "How could God let something like this happen?" (In reference to the attacks of September 11to the World Trade Center)

Anne Graham answered with extremely profound and insightful response: She said, "I believe God is deeply saddened by this, just as we are, but for years we've been telling God to get out of our schools, to get out of our government and to get out of our lives. And being the gentleman He is, I believe He has calmly backed out. How can we expect God to give us His blessing and His protection if we demand He leave us alone?"

In light of terrorists attacks, school shootings, giant hurricanes, earthquakes, floods, etc. on our country, it’s now constantly asked if and how we lost the protection of God? It began when Madeleine Murray O’Hare (who was murdered, her body recently found) complained she didn't want prayer in schools. As a nation we allowed our elected representatives to say OK to this! It was then proposed that we not read the Bible in school... And the U.S. Gov. said OK with a Federal Law that basically Outlawed God: Prayer, The Ten Commandments and Holy Bible Scripture, From Public Presentation!… Yet right now, today, It’s still ok for other so called “religions” like Muslims to read their Koran bible and pray in public though. The Bible James1:6 states: But let him ask in faith, without any doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, driven by the wind and tossed. 7 For let that man not think that he will receive anything from the Lord. 8 He is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.

Then Dr. Benjamin Spock said we shouldn't spank our children when they misbehave because their little personalities would be warped and we mightdamage their self-esteem (Dr. Spock's son committed suicide). We said an expert should know what he's talking about. So we as a nation again said OK… But This Dr. Spock Obviously Never referenced the book of PROVERBS in the Bible before completing his studies: Proverbs 22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it. 22:15 Folly is bound up in the heart of a child: The rod of discipline drives it far from him. 23:13 Don’t withhold correction from a child. If you punish him with the rod, he will not die. 23:14 Punish him with the rod, And save his soul from Sheol (HELL). 23:24 The father of the righteous has great joy. Whoever fathers a wise child delights in him. 29:15 The rod of correction gives wisdom, But a child left to himself causes shame to his mother. 29:17 Correct your son, and he will give you peace; Yes, he will bring delight to your soul. Then, with Dr. Spock as a reference, school boards said teachers and principals had better not discipline our children when they misbehave. The school administrators said no facultymember in school should touch a student when they misbehave because we don't want bad publicity, and we surely don't want to be sued. (Educators need to be educated that there is a big difference between disciplining, touching, beating, smacking, humiliating, kicking, etc.) And we said well, OK.

Then the school board decided that since boys will be boys and they're going to go out and do it with the girls anyway, we will give out in school FREE condoms to the male students so they can have all the fun they desire, and we won't have to worry about them telling their parents how they got them since it’s the policy to simply give them out to them at school. Once again, we adults just said OK.

Then it was further determined, let's now let our daughters choose to have abortions if they want, and they won't even have to tell their parents either. And we as a Nation said it’s OK. II Timothy3:1 But know this, that in the last days, grievous times will come. 2 For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 without natural affection, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, fierce, no lovers of good, 4 traitors, headstrong, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God; 5 holding a form of godliness, but having denied the power thereof. Then some of our top elected officials said it doesn't even matter what we do in private as long as we do our jobs. In agreeing with them, we said it doesn't matter to me what anyone, including the former President, does in private as long as I have a job and the economy is good.

Then the print media, wanting to cash in on this new and open society, started printing all kinds of magazines with pictures of nude women and called it good, wholesome, down-to-earth appreciation for the beauty of the female body. And we said wow! OK.

And then slick opportunists jumped on the bandwagon and took that appreciation a step further and even published volumes of outrageous pictures with sex, nude children. They then carried it even further yet by making it Now available all over the entire world on the Internet. Today they make untold Billions of dollars charging perverted people for access to see it on porn web sites. And when it started, we said OK, they're entitled to free speech.

Then the entertainment industry said, since God is dead, and prayer is not allowed in public under federal law, we will revise censorship and censor from movies and TV shows all prayer, church music, services and righteousness, and allow all and any use of fowl language and using God’s name in cursing . So with that in mind, let's make TV shows and movies that promote profanity, violence, and illicit sex. It brings in big money! Let's record music that encourages rape, drugs, murder, suicide, and satanic themes. And we said aw heck, OK, it's just entertainment, it has no adverse effect, and nobody takes it seriously anyway, so go right ahead, and have at it..

Now we're asking ourselves why our children have no conscience, why they don't know right from wrong, and why it doesn't bother them to killstrangers, their classmates, and themselves. We now live in a godless world where people who look like they are in trouble and need help are actually abductors, rapists, robbers, gang members, and gun toting car jackers, it’s no wonder that people are unfriendly and hostile to strangers. There is no happiness and greetings in a Joyful way in public places and parking lots. People shuffle there way about in a hermit like fashion, afraid of anyone they do not already know that comes near them.

I think it has a great deal to do with "WE REAP WHAT WE SOW.” Galatians 6:7 Don’t be deceived. God is not mocked, for whatever a man sows, that will he also reap. 8 For he who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption. But he who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life.

Funny how simple it is for people to just trash God and then wonder why the world's going to hell in a hand basket. Funny how we believe what the newspapers say, but question what The Bible says.

Funny how you can send 'jokes' through e-mail and they spread like wildfire, but when you start sending messages regarding the Lord, peoplethink twice about sharing. Funny how lewd, crude, vulgar and obscene articles will pass so freely through cyberspace, but public discussion of God is suppressed in the school and workplace.

Funny how when you forward this message, you will not just send it to many on your address list because you're not really sure what they believe, or what they will think of you for sending it. Funny how we can be more worried about what other people think of us than what God thinks of us.
