The family-owned restaurant has been dubbed by Fox News as “Seattle’s special occasion restaurant” for its unparalleled service, culinary delights, and charm. Canlis is known all over town for its world-class wine cellar (mind you, the restaurant has five sommeliers!), its prix-fixe chef’s tasting menu, and cozy jazz bar. With an expansive view of Lake Union in the backdrop, spending a dinner date at this restaurant is like a scene straight out of a romantic movie.

Brendan Spiegel of Travel and Leisure recommends enjoying the catch of the day which include New England lobsters, oysters and scallops, and a wild boar confit.
