  1. 5 Restaurants in the US Where You Should Spend Your Valentine’s Day Dinner

  2. Seattle, Washington Canlis is located along Aurora Avenue in Seattle—and has been for the past 60 years. The family-owned restaurant has been dubbed by Fox News as “Seattle’s special occasion restaurant” for its unparalleled service, culinary delights, and charm. Canlis is known all over town for its world-class wine cellar (mind you, the restaurant has five sommeliers!), its prix-fixe chef’s tasting menu, and cozy jazz bar. With an expansive view of Lake Union in the backdrop, spending a dinner date at this restaurant is like a scene straight out of a romantic movie.

  3. Friendly Tip in Finding Restaurant Friendly reminder make sure to research first on the restaurant (e.g. How They Handle Food, Do They Have Proper Training etc.) to make sure your safe.

  4. Napa Valley, California No Valentine’s Day culinary destinations’ list will be complete without Napa Valley. Auberge du Soleil has come up in several romantic must-visit restaurants for Valentine’s Day lists that it’s hard to pass up on including it on our own. So what’s so special about this restaurant aside from the fact that it’s in wine country? First, it’s a perfect place to kickstart an intimate dinner with a glass of wine and with a clear view of the Napa Valley sunset, according to Luxist. Second, it has a private room called La Pagode where couples can enjoy a prix fixe dinner complete with wine pairings, and a private solo guitar performance especially for them. Finally, did we mention it’s in Napa Valley? Be ready to shell out $1,450 per couple though.

  5. New Orleans, Louisiana EmerilLagasse’sDelmonico restaurant in New Orleans’ historic garden district exudes an old world charm that only a restaurant in the New Orleans can authentically offer. Delmonico, which Lagasse established in 1998, is famed for its crispy pork cheek and European haute dishes, according to Luxist. The restaurant’s executive chef, Spencer Minch, also likes to mix things up a bit when Lagasse’s not around with different cuisines from around the world.

  6. Quechee, Vermont It’s definitely a sin not to include Vermont as a top Valentine’s dinner date destination. But where in Vermont? Sarah Storms of Travel and Leisure lists the eponymous Simon Pearce Restaurant as one of the best places in Vermont to spend your Valentine’s Day dinner date. Nothing could be more romantic than looking out the window of the restaurant, which, by the way, overlooks the falls of the Ottauquechee River. The restaurant’s food will make your evening all the more special.

  7. Newport, Rhode Island I don’t know about you, but nothing beats a dinner at a waterfront mansion and restored lighthouse with a castle-like ambiance. That’s exactly what one can expect from Castle Hill Inn in Newport, Rhode Island, which, aside from its majestic atmosphere is set on the top of a secluded peninsula, and offers a delightful view of the ocean. Brendan Spiegel of Travel and Leisure recommends enjoying the catch of the day which include New England lobsters, oysters and scallops, and a wild boar confit.
