Facts… • Henry Hudson was born somewhere in between the years of 1565 and 1570,no one really knows for sure… • On June 22,1611, his crew on The Hopewell committed mutiny, him, his son and seven loyal crew members were tied up on a boat with no supplies and they were set adrift. They were never seen again. • He sailed from (and for) Amsterdam, Holland in 1609

  3. Earlylife • in 1607 he was hired by the English Muscovy company to find a northwest route to Asia • In 1608 the discovered a island he later named it Hudson's *Tuches. • Later, well educated, he married Katherine and the had 3 sons • He came from a very wealthy family…
