  4. Applications/Programs When you hover over an application on the taskbar, it expands so you can choose the window to open.

  5. TaskBar There are fewer items on the task bar, but you can customize this You can “pin” apps to your task bar

  6. Pin to Taskbar or Start Menu Right-click (two finger click) on any application and you will have the option to pin it to the task bar or start menu.

Connect to Wireless • On the taskbar choose the wireless network icon • Choose the network and connect automatically, then Connect NOTE: this procedure works only if your wireless adapter is enabled.   14. Eject External Hardware & Media • Look for the USB/Green Checkmark icon at the bottom right of the taskbar • If the icon is not visible, click the up arrow - Hide in the taskbar at the bottom right  • Select "Safely Remove Hardware" and "Eject Media" > Select the device

  15. Force Quit from the Task Manager • CTRL + ALT + DELETE • Click “Start Task Manager” • Find the unresponsive application and select "End Task" to Force Quit the program • Close the window
