  2. Madonna was one of the most hardworking rock stars of ‘80’s.

  3. Madame C.J. Walker was not only a inspiration to African American women , but to ALL women. In 1910 , she opened her first factory.

  4. IN 1919 , Women finally had the right to vote.

  5. In 1932 , Frances Perkins becomes Secretary of Labor under President Roosevelt and the first woman to hold a Cabinet- level office.

  6. In 1942 , World War II sent so many men out of the country. .

  7. Which left women with paying jobs.

  8. But in 1945 , when the men came back from Europe and Asia ,

  9. The Women had to turn over their jobs .

  10. This left them with the lowest-paying jobs society had at the time.

  11. 20 years later ………….

  12. In 1963, The Equal Pay act passes .

  13. IN 2001,More Than 9 million women owned companies.
