  • Inter Process Communication (IPC) through TCP/IP client-server architecture
  • Transferring of input and output files by using the File Transfer Protocol (FTP)
  • Socket to socket communication between PHP scripts
  • Current implementation allows the execution of models located on the server machine through a WWW interface.

  • Currently implemented:
    • Geomagnetic cutoff calculations using Størmer\'s formula, based on routines used in SPENVIS (provided by D. Heynderickx)
