Parents think that there child doesn’t need to go the dentist as this age because they still have their baby teeth. This is a common mistake, because even though your child still has baby teeth, his/hers permanent teeth are starting to develop. It is important for your child to go to the dentist in order for the dentist to check that their teeth are developing well. It is also important for your child to go the dentist at a young age in order to prevent any plaque build up. Young children can be taken to a pediatric dental office, but most dental office will see your child too.
