Online classes

  • Online evaluations are posted (as a “pop-up” in each class) 3 wks before the end of the semester

  • Students are given 3 prompts to complete an evaluation before being locked out of the course

  • If locked out, students must contact WebTycho Support

  • Paper evaluations are sent to all faculty 4 wks before the end of the semester

    --If not received, call Research & Evaluation @ 240-582-2755

  • Faculty must read and follow all instructions about distributing and returning completed evaluation forms (within one week after the Semester or Term ends.)

Student Focus - Grade of Incomplete

  • The grade of Incomplete (“I”) is given only in exceptional situations. Note that 60% of the coursework must be completed with a grade of C or better, and the student must request an Incomplete.

  • The instructor has the final decision to grant or deny the grade of Incomplete even if the student meets the above criteria.

  • If an Incomplete grade is given, the student has up to 4 months to complete final work or the grade will convert to an F. (The instructor determines the deadline within that 4 months)

  • The 4 month limit was a change, effective in the Fall 04 Semester
