  2. Zero conditionals Zero conditionals are sentence structures that express things that are always or nearly always true If they get late, just leave without them. In conditional clauses you can use any present tense In result clauses you can not use will or would but only present simple or imperative When you travel abroad, you have to show your passport.

  3. First conditionals First conditionals are structures comprising two clauses, conditional clause (sometimes time clause) and result clause. If they are late again, I will be mad at them. In conditional/time clause you can use any present tense In result clauses verb is in future form As soon as I go home, I am going to tidy the garden. Time expression

  4. Second conditionals Second conditionals are sentence structures that express imaginary present results if things (circumstances) were different If I had a car, I would not be waiting for a bus. Past simple Would + be + ing
