  3. History Pastor Witness L. Dlamini started preaching in the trains from 1996 until 2000, during the post apartheid era. Violence was rife during this period. At the end of 2000 we acquired a piece of land in Soweto where we began the ministry. We began fellowshipping in a big tent in 2001. The construction of the church started in January 2003.

  5. History The church is situated in Soweto. South of Johannesburg. Soweto is the biggest township in South Africa. Soweto stands for South Western Township. Population in Soweto is approx. 4.5 million .

  6. People Under privileged More people than churches Once under Political Oppression Once a Violent Ravaged Suburb Now experiencing political freedom New desire for Christianity

  7. People Multi tribal. Average income $200 per month. All ages. Eager to know the Lord. Hungry for the Gospel.

  8. Challenges Resources to take the Word of God to the people. Poverty. Youth resorting to drugs. Aids. Unemployment. Finance.

  9. Achievements 250 members to date. Reached four provinces in South Africa. Reached three other countries in Africa. A building structure for the Church. Communal relationship with the police. Feeding and clothing the needy

  10. Vision Taking the Gospel of God to every city in South Africa. Preaching the Word of God without compromise to all Nations. Reaching the lost souls. Building a God fearing Church. Taking the Gospel to every African Nation. Raising leaders. Reaching 5000 in membership in the next 2 years in Soweto.
