  1. WP2 Dissemination The dissemination process will mainly be based on 2 specific objectives: 1. Information delivery on the JARC 2. Dissemination of the JARC recommendations in the area of epidemiology, quality of care, clinical practice guidelines, medical education, translation research, health policy for the 12 families of rare cancers.

  2. Information delivery on the JARC Action Launch Audiences: 1. Member states, governmental and non-governmental organizations; 2. Scientific and professional organization and committees; 3. Cancer patients and European citizens

  3. website • Jointactionrarecancers.eu • Continuously we added all the information send it (PLEASE SEND events, activities, photos regarding the action WG meetings dates etc) • We try to keep it updated i.e. You can all add the website address to your email signatures

  4. Poster One generic poster to be used in your Departments, seminars, workshops, Conferences etc

  5. Magazine adv (open file) Can be modified by each partner and be added in newsletters, partnering magazines i.e. we added it in the magazine of HeSMO

  6. Promotion video Please disseminate all the materials through your personal or institutional social media. Include video in public speaking opportunities i.e. through HeSMO we used it at congresses, a local TV channel where I was invited to speak about JARC

  7. Survey on dissemination outreach • We create an online survey to evaluate the efficiency in communications; how engage we are (all of us) in disseminated the action and what is also needed it. • Until Friday 13 persons

  9. Next steps: • Continuous website updating ….. • Dissemination of recommendations when available from the WPs • 2nd leaflet version and social media banners but we need to be clear: • Where we stand in our 2nd year of action? • What we want to communicate?

If 1st year was to raise awareness over the new initiative and call for action and support, what should our 2nd year? • To provide results i.e. we delivered ERNs system works, let’s go further on this? • What the action need it? We call for action but what is the action we expect from the audience? i.e. to further built awareness over the needs of a EU system? Promote ideas?

  11. We need messages based to results • Since the objective is to communicate the outcomes of WPs we need to specify each WP the main outcome to be communicated through the 2nd version of leaflet and social media banners
