Can’t have ‘undercut’ outwards from coil Coil assy will occupy volume projected radially outwards from coil width + delta* *delta is extra thickness allowed for coil support plates – currently 19.1 mm (0.75”), could possibly reduce but not too much. For good carbon fibre, expect ~ 2x stiffness, so ½ the thickness.

  3. Currently, all coil support plates violate stay clear zone Stay clear zone barely fits around coil alone

  4. How is this ‘jog’ accomplished? Collimation? If not collimation, the can the stay clear zone follow the dashed lines?

  5. Support Weldment Allows each coil to be lowered/lifted from above

  6. 2.75” beampipe
