3. Performance Contracting Energy Savings Performance Contracts (ESPCs) are - guaranteed and self-funded - through cost savings derived from infrastructure improvements, preservation of natural resources, and enhanced operational measures

4. Savings Guarantee If the specified energy savings are not realized, Apollo would compensate you with the difference – and – perform all mechanical enhancements/adjustments required to ensure that these systems are functioning at high-efficiency levels

11. The Path to Sustainability Perhaps the best example of this is our approach to High Performance Green Buildings. We begin with an Ideation process using the new Sustainability Navigator: we work with clients to effectively develop a strategic plan that addresses a broad range of sustainability issues for their organization. We develop a clear alignment and team consensus on where the organization wants to go. We then work with the client to determine where they are now: Once the executive commitment has been developed, we use the Energy and Environment Footprint tool to develop a starting point for the client's portfolio of facilities. We then prioritize the opportunities for improvement: Using our Green Compass tool, we develop a prioritized list of improvements for each facility. This software integrates with EPA’s Energy Star system to benchmark facilities and find those that meet the minimum energy efficiency standards required in the LEED rating system. Green Compass also includes an analysis of the financial costs and benefits for each facility improvement. Johnson Controls and our local and global partners then are available to Implement Green Solutions. We assemble an easy-to-understand program designed to meet financial, social and environmental goals. Using Performance Contracting, we can package the recommended technologies and strategies and guarantee the results. Finally, we then work with clients to Communicate during implementation and beyond: We’re available for assistance on internal and external communications. We can use the Green Compass information to apply for LEED and other certification, if that’s desired. And through our Sustainable Energy & Environmental Communications or SEEC program, we provide online education for employees to help them understand sustainability and know what triple-bottom-line benefits they can find at work and at home.
