CROSSFIT TRAINING CrossFit is a Strength and Conditioning program designed to Improve Endurance, Stamina, Strength, Flexibility, Power, Speed, Coordination, Agility … to Achieve this CrossFit employs various Exercises using elements of: Body Weight Workouts, High-intensity Interval Training,(HIT), Olympic Lifting, Plyometrics, Powerlifting, Gymnastics, Girevoy Sport, Calisthenics, Strongman and other Exercises across a broad range of Functional Fitness . Popular in CrossFit Competition Girevoy Sport is Kettlebell Training on two cycles on two lifts; a ten minute Snatch and Jerk and a ten minute long cycle Clean & Jerk. Girevoy Sport is a focused more on Strength Stamina than traditional. A point is scored every time a Kettlebell is locked overhead. Ranking is determined by the kettlebell weight and the # of reps completed in total number of jerks in 10 minutes plus the total number of snatches in 10 minutes. “Long Cycle Clean and Jerks” (LCCJ): is total repetitions completed in 10 minutes.
