Information • Work time • Is not allow to work more than 10 hours continuous .During Turnaround periods the minimum weekly stop must be one and a half day . • Any exception must be approved by the Site Leader or the Safety Coordinator after conducting the risk analysis. • Contractor Information • Company Responsible contact name and Telephone. • Company Safety Contact name and telephone. • Company Housekeeping contact name. • Occupational Health Insurance company name.

Qualifications & At risk personnel • The minimum requirements are. • Technical knowledge of that profession. • At Risk Personnel • “At risk, language” : People who do not speak the local language • ”At risk, work experience”. People who do not have certification or has not been working at least 6 month in that craft. . • LANGUAGE AT RISK PERSONNEL: • One member of each work group / unit must be fluent in the local language and must be present on the construction site all the time. • These people will receive the site safety training in the French or German language. One member of the team will translate to the workers language. • Note: The foreman must be able to communicate with all the group members

At risk personnel • EXPERIENCE AT RISK PERSONNEL • This people will receive extra safety training (see training section) • During the execution of the work these people must be grouped with other workers having a broader work experience. • The foremen will help & orientate the new employee and will, while working together, progressively communicate his / her job knowledge and experience.

  20. Stac Card • Before any work will start in the field, the Contractor shall daily check the work location and the work itself. The check will be done by filling out the Safety Task Analysis Card (or STAC card)

BBP( Behaviour program) • The expected minimum normal level of BBP observations are: • DOW personnel • 3 observations per day for the Project EH&S Leader • 3 observations per week for each contractor eh&s technician done with the presence of the Project EH&S leader • Data will be reviewed and used to qualify the contractor performance .

PPE • Hard Hats. • Safety Glasses with side shields. • Safety-toed safety boots (in areas designated as requiring such, S3 type with sole protection) • Gloves appropriate to the hazard – must follow the Dow Glove Policy (where applicable • No rings. • No loose jewellery . • Long trousers & long sleeve shirts (with shirttails tucked in - if around any rotating equipment). • No loose or baggy clothing. • Knives are not allowed in the construction area. The Knives policy must be followed.

Environmental • Management and maintenance of the necessary environmental permits • * Reduction of waste substances • * Management and registration of waste substances • * A program and activities to prevent soil pollution • * Storage of hazardous substances in conformance with applicable guidelines. • * Regular training / information of their employees about their environmental care program • Mobile, diesel, or gasoline-propelled machinery, such as compressors, generators, high-pressure units, cranes, welding generators, trucks, etc. may not leak fuel or oil. During stationary operation, adequate leakage collection must be in place (drip tray). This can be a fluid-proof bottom in a machine or a welded (no bonding) receptacle, smaller than the surface of the machine to prevent rainwater collection.

The SMAT will decide the actions to be taken . • The determination of what Behaviours needs to be presented to the SMAT will be carried out by the Dow Construction Manager and the Dow Project Safety Leader.

Contractor EH&S Evaluation • The EH&S evaluation will be done according the following criteria: • Zero Tolerance • BBP Observation from Dow EH&S people. • Attendance to Meetings • Safety Leadership ( effectiveness and Time on the field) • Incidents and accidents Investigation • Work permit compliance • Access Documentation. • The quarterly values will be presented to the Project Site Leadership Team and to the local SMAT. The SMAT will communicate the results to the contractor companies and ensure the good companies are rewarded and the ones with low performance are penalized.
