  1. William Shakespeare, his lifeand his poetry! Done by Yulia Belyakova, the 6th grade.

  2. Life. William Shakespeare was a great poet, who wrote a lot of funny comedies and dramatic tragedies! He was born in Stratford-upon-Avon on April 23 in 1564. Young William lived in Henley Street. In November 1582 William Shakespeare married Anne Hathaway. Before 1591, his three children were born: Susannah, the eldest, than twins-a son, Hamnet and another girl Judith.

  3. Comedies William Shakespeare wrote many comedies. In 1593 he wrote his first play “The comedy of Errors” In 1596 William wrote“A Midsummer Night’s Dream” and in 1597 “The merchant of Venice” was published. In 1600 he wrote his most famous play “As You Like It” William Shakespeare wrote“All’s Well That Ends Well” in 1603.

  4. Tragedies William Shakespeare wrote many sad tragedies. One of the most famous, “Romeo and Juliet” , he wrote in 1595. Then in 1599 he wrote another sad play “Julius Caesar”. In 1604 William wrote “Othello”. Then in 1606 he wrote two plays-”King Lear” and “Macbeth”

  5. Career In 1587 William Shakespeare went to work to London, leaving Anne and children at home. In London Shakespeare began to act and to write plays. Soon he became an owner of an acting company and built his famous The Globe. He stopped writing in 1613 and went to live in Stratford where he died on his birthday, April 23, in 1616.
