  2. Book Summary One day there was a boy walking in the forest with an ax. Then the boy saw The Great Kapok Tree and he started cutting down The Great Kapok Tree. Then he got tired and fell at sleep. Then some animals convinced the boy to not cut down The Great Kapok Tree

  3. The Great Kapok Tree-The Salamander Room In The Great Kapok Tree the animals gave The Great Kapok Tree protective because they convinced the boy to not cut down The Great Kapok Tree. In the Salamander Room the boy gives and gives the salamander water, trees, rocks, birds, and bugs so it won’t die and so it will have a home.

  4. The Great Kapok Tree -The Giving Tree The Giving Tree and The Great Kapok Tree are the same because they both have a boy in the stories, both animals and the boy have a home. The Great Kapok Tree has animals that live in The Great Kapok Tree and in The Giving Tree the boy gets branches to make a home.

  5. The Great Kapok Tree - Grant The Great Kapok Tree reminds me when I was in Cub Scouts. We were on a nature trail and a tree fell and it was in our way so we jumped over it. It reminds me when the boy tried to cut down The Great Kapok Tree.

  6. Text To World In The Great Kapok Tree the boy tried to cut down The Great Kapok Tree. In the real world there has been trees cut down. If they cut down The Great Kapok Tree the animals will not have a place to live or food and water. Animals need trees to survive and it helps people too like giving oxygen. If the lumber jacks keep cutting down trees we wont have oxygen.
