  2. How to carve a pumpkin for Halloween • Carving a Pumpkin can be easy for some, but others, not so much. • Since Halloween is coming up in about a month, I thought it would be good to teach people how to carve a pumpkin to put outside their homes for all the trick-or-treaters to see. • Halloween is an exciting holiday for people all ages, especially kids, so it will be good for children to take time to carve pumpkins with their parents.

  3. How to carve a pumpkin • First, you must go to a pumpkin orchard and select any pumpkin that you like, but the pumpkins should be a good size. • Then you must draw a circle on top of the pumpkin, so you can cut off the top stem. Your hand should be able to go through the hole. • Cut through the stem end of your pumpkin along the outline you made. • Remove the stem end and make sure you scrape off all the pulp and seeds. • Use a spoon to get all the seeds and pulp out of the pumpkin.

  4. How to carve a pumpkin… • Draw a pattern on the face with a felt tip marker. Make sure the eyes, mouth, and nose are large enough. • Follow the pattern as you cut through the pumpkin. • Push out the parts that you cut off from the inside of the pumpkin and discard the pieces. • Place a candle inside the pumpkin to give it a glow for all the trick-or-treaters.

  5. All different pumpkins

  6. Ending!!! • Hope you learned a lot about pumpkins and how to make your own jack-o-lantern for Halloween.
