PURPOSE 1.Li-Ion batteries are being widely used as power tools and electric bicycles 2.These batteries are over 100Wh and being transported as dangerous goods 3.Our proposal is to get additional exemption to ship batteries over 100Wh as non-dangerous goods 4.We have improved our proposal and would like to have your frank opinion for this proposal

PROPOSAL 1.Those who wish to ship batteries equal to or under 200Wh as non-dangerous goods, SOC should be controlled equal to or under 50% 2.Those who wish to ship batteries equal to or under 300Wh as non-dangerous goods, SOC should be controlled equal to or under 10% 3.Those who wish to ship batteries equal to or under 400Wh as non-dangerous goods, SOC should be controlled at 0% (Fully discharged status)

  4. BAJ’s revised proposal to secure SOC 1.To specify SOC as equal to or lower than 50% or actual SOC to shipping label 2.To specify SOC as equal to or lower than 50% or actual SOC to shipping declaration 3.To get approval from Shipping country and to ship out with normal shipping permit number 4.To staple sealing label to know in case carton were opened during transportation
