Communication • Q Parent Connect is our online grading and communication system • Upcoming assignments, up-to-date grades, assignment descriptions, and comments • I encourage students and parents to use Q to view upcoming assignments and personal comments • For parents-this is a great way to stay informed

  6. Web Page My web page is a work in progress. Throughout the year, I will be adding useful links and assignments to help your students with different concepts in our curriculum.   7. Homework • Camarillo Library offers homework help • www.camarillolibrary.org • EsperA. Petersen Foundation • Study Center • Monday –Wednesday: 3 pm – 6 pm • Thursday: 2 pm – 6 pm • When school is in session • Homework can be expected about 3 times a week • Students should be reviewing concepts discussed in class 10-15 minutes per night • LATE HOMEWORK IS BETTER THAN NO HOMEWORK!

  8. Extra Help Opportunities I am available to offer extra help, clarification of assignments, and study help for quizzes/test to students during: • Before school (unless on duty) • Lunch • After school until 3:30

What I Would Most Like to Let You Know…. • I have the best of intentions • I work hard and put in a lot of time to provide a program that challenges kids to be active learners. • I make mistakes…therefore I am understanding when students do too. However, I expect that we are all accountable for them. • I want students to feel supported, respected, and grow in their confidence of themselves. • I am here to work with you for them.

  10. Ways to Help • Donate to PTSA • Visit my adopt a classroom page for supplies and equipment needed • Offer to volunteer in class (during Prep, period 1) • Inventory • Ordering • Organization • Sign making • Lab set up • Constructive feedback and notification if your child is struggling
