  5. Women and children first? In the past, when ships were sinking, the Captain ordered the crew to start loading passengers onto the lifeboats. The captain always ordered “women and children first”. Why do you think this was? According to some reports the order was given on the cruise ship that sank this weekend, but many men ignored it and pushed their way onto the lifeboats first. Do you think it is right to order “women and children first”? Would you have followed this order?
