  15. Your assignment • In teams of two: • Research the geographic homeland, economy, lifeway, clothing, customs, and history of interaction with Persia of one of these cultures. Special attention should be given to unique characteristics. • You will be assigned at random one of the nations. • Next Wednesday you will report back to the class on your findings.

For your assigned cultural group • Geographic spread and traditional homeland • Religion • Economy • Customs/traditions • Identity: distinctive cultural icon or social feature • Brief history prior to Persian conquest. Are these people with us today? • Provide bibliography of 3 in-print sources for sharing with class.

Ground rules • Be prepared to answer questions from the class. • We will have a “roundtable” sharing session on Monday. • Your grade is based on completeness of research. • OK to start with wikipedia but don’t end there. • Locate and prepare a bibliography of at least three in-print sources to share in class.
