  15. The nursery school In France, the children can go to the nursery school from 2 or 3 years old (from section 1 to section 3). They do some craftswork. They play, they sing nursery rhymes and have a nap in the afternoon.

  16. The primary school The children go to primary school from 6 to 11 years (of CP CM2). They learn reading, writing and counting. They follow history, geography, sciences, technology lessons, civic education, Some times, they leave several days in a discovery class, example: snow class, sea class.

Secondary and high shool • After the secondary school (from 11 to 14 years old) the pupils go to the to the high school (from 15 to 18 years old), from the class of “second” to the “final class”. • At the end of the schooling, they pass an examination: the baccalaureate. • If the pupils make a success of the VAT they will be able to go to the university or to enter other large schools (engineer, trade, etc)
