  2. Identify Challenge • Identify robot components/operations that may exceed size/weight requirements.

  3. Iteration • Given a design challenge, the participant applies all steps in the design process, including cross steps and returning to previous steps.

  4. Brainstorming Given a design challenge, the participant develops multiple ideas with more detail.

  5. Concept Analysis • Describe each motion of the robot and confirms it will not exceed any robot restrictions.

  6. Game Calculate the forces/speeds needed in the robot motions to complete tasks.

  7. Calculations Demonstrate an understanding of gears and gear ratios.
