Data Sharing • Insight – school pupils and school leavers • Aspirations & destinations • Other development activity • A data table is refreshed every Friday on confirmed offers and a spreadsheet is produced – a zipped set by school/cohort in each LA is produced. • Can be sent to LAs on request and can be used to send back/update data – can provide up-to-date information SDS may not have

School offer 2009/10 • New Partnership Agreements to be developed for 2010/11 • S1-3 focus on supporting school staff prepare for 16+ LC • S4-6 focus on supporting leavers into positive destinations post school • Statutory leavers will get face to face intervention – group or interview • Differentiated service according to identifiable need

School offer contd. • Website promoted as first point of contact for SDS products and services • S5/6 group work to support development of career management skills • Key worker referral by school SDS adviser 3 to 6 months before leaving date • Capacity building of school guidance staff to improve links with CfE and understanding of SDS products and services

  5. Local Authority Offer • SDS is currently meeting with all LAs’/CPP partners to develop a Service Delivery Agreement • Focusing on Local outcomes/National outcomes/SDS outcomes • Maximise use of all partner resources in terms of inputs/outputs

  6. 16 -19 0ffer post school • College • Unemployed • Others not presently active

  7. College offer • Students on non advanced courses have priority to support their progression on course completion • Target students at risk of dropping out • Capacity building to improve referrals to SDS and other products and services

  8. Unemployed • Case management, including key worker services, targeted at 16 to19 year olds and those with ASL needs • Employability sessions – e.g. Career Essentials (trained staff only) • Discretionary projects – e.g. Support Employment • Referral to NTPs – GRfW, TfW, SS and MAs • IES • Supporting redundant apprentices – ESF • CPP partnership programmes/events to support unemployed adults • Joint action with Jobcentre Plus • ILAs
