  11. Aquasquirts • A play-based aquatic program • Designed for boys and girls under 11 yrs • AS helps to improve swimming skills, such as breathing, floating & propulsion • Learning is cleverly disguised as play • Theme-based lesson plans

Star Program (Learn to Synch) • The Star Program is a skill development program that offers swimmers a progressive, step-by step introduction to basic skills and sequences. • It progresses through to advanced skills and routine components where swimmers can become proficient at the sport, no matter if a swimmer pursues it via a recreational or competitive stream. • It includes evaluation through the initial levels, Star 1-10, followed by the Superstar 1-7 award levels.

What to Expect at the Pool • Dryland • 11+12, 13-15 PS have 2 sessions on land working with body weight, bands, light dumbbells • 13-15 NS, 16-18 PS, Jr also have sessions in the weight room • Dynamic Warm up • Large movements on land that will prepare the athlete for their water session • Workouts • Usually consist of laps of swimming and sculling • Used to increase cardiovascular capacity • Figures • Drills • Partner work • On Own • Routine Skills and Routines • With or without music; small sections, lap x lap, full swim throughs • Flex • Team unity
