  2. Treatment Tips There are a few rep-treatment tips for your consideration:  Weight  Alcohol  Exercise  Folate  Surgery  Smoking

  3. Weight Being underweight or overweight can delay the time it takes a woman to conceive. Weight before getting pregnant is often an overlooked factor in fertility. Keeping a healthy weight can help with conception.

  4. Alcohol There appears to be no negative impact on fertility. There is no need to abstain during this period of time but you should restrict your intake to less than 1 glass a day.

  5. Exercise Exercise can help IVF patients to get pregnant. Exercise is good for maintaining weight loss, lowering stress and increasing a sense of well being.

  6. Folate Recent studies have concluded that folate or folic acid, one of the B group of vitamins, can prevent the occurrence of neural tube defects. Women should take folate supplementation (0.5mg a day) in the month before conception or treatment and the first three months of pregnancy.

  7. Surgery Even if it has been concluded that IVF is the best chance of conception, still it is important to go for endoscopic surgical techniques, for maximising your chances of pregnancy.

  8. Smoking The negative impact of smoking on fertility and pregnancy outcome. lf they do get pregnant, they have a higher chance of a miscarriage or ectopic pregnancy.
