  2. What is a computer? A computer is a machine that follows the orders of the user. All computers have four main components which is the arithmetic logic unit (ALU), the control unit, the memory and the input and output devices.These parts of the computer are connected by busses which is a group of wires. Inside these parts are thousands of electric circuits which are turned on and off when the computer is being used. All computers are able to store, retrieve and process data. Computers can range from big to small sizes and fast or slow speed. Anything one computer is capable of doing; the other computer can do too.

  5. SYSTEM UNIT Features: System Unit- It contains the motherboard, power supply, cooling fans, internal disk drives and memory modules. The system box can’t break down easily because of the high protection inside and out. It can balance the monitor too. The reaction to the order is fast. Motherboard- Handles and supports the advanced computing processes. Since it is the  main circuit board for the computer, it is protected by a covering that doesn’t allow dust or anything else to enter. CPU-It is the main chip in the whole computer system because it is where the calculations take place. It has a small fan on top of the CPU to help get rid of heat.Cooler-A cooler is installed under the system box to cool down the system, which Memory-A high memory capacity of 2-32GB RAM

  6. Input and Output (I/O) I/O means any device that transfers data TO or FROM a CPU. Input means when information is put into the CPU. Output means when information from the computer is taken out from the CPU and into the outside world. Hardware and Software Hardware is what we can feel and is what makes up or is part of a computer. Software is in a computer and runs inside it.

SPEAKERS Features: High Definition Sound, no echoes, no distortion and HD response Built in the system unit Built-in speakers deliver loud, clear sound with notable bass response and very little distortion. Tuner control Sound projection is multiplied because the speakers are in form of small circles and are placed close together. It gives a 360° sound. The speakers are placed on the system unit for high projection and more space on the desktop.

  8. KEYBOARD Extremely thin. You can change the sensitivity levels. The right side has a memo pad where you can type in a to do list or passwords to remember.   9. Scroll is tap sensitive. This means that you can scroll down with a tap and a drag down (instead of scroll down) MOUSE Wireless. This makes a tidier desktop It is smooth, seamless mouse that can control everything with simple gestures of the hand Allows fast scrolling Has laser tracking Made out of stainless aluminum Two way power (battery and solar powered)

  10. Scanner-Same resolution quality as the place picture. PRINTER Options menu. Print, scan and photocopy Paper Inkjet Printer 500 sheet input tray Wireless printer. It is connected by a flash drive installed on the computer. Resolution: 4800 dpi (dots per inch) Speed: 30ppm (papers per minute)

  11. MODEM Converting a computer’s digital signals into specific frequencies is a very important job. The network is a very big place and a good modem is needed. This modem can convert signals in 30-characters per second which is fast. This means that the computer will receive and give more information in a shorter time. The signal can be transmitted easily and decoded to reproduce the original digital data
